Trail Description Variety of trails from single track, used almost exclusively by horse riders to two track and graded roads open to motor vehicles. The park covers about 54,000 acres and offers an "immense diversity of flora and fauna" (state park guidebook). It is an interesting place to ride.
Best Time to Visit Cooler and dryer months. There is quite a bit of riding in the open.
Times to Avoid Many of the trails are probably under water during the raining season.
Campground Nice campground and picnic areas with water and electric hook-ups and paddocks for horses. It is recommended that you call before arrival to obtain the latest information regarding facilities and access.
