Campground Mane Stay is adjacent to the trails DEC horse trails at Otter Creek. They have campsites or cabins to rent. Horse accomodations are very nice with corrals or large box stalls. Jerry and Debbie Vanzile are the owners and are EXTREMELY helpful and gracious. Access to the Otter Creek trails is easy and right off the campground you can ride the Independence River loop or take Shady trail to the Assembly Area. The web site is: http://www.manestay.com/

Directions Take NYS Rt. 12 to Glenfield. Turn into the hamlet of Glenfield. In Glenfield turn east onto Greig Rd. Go across the Black River and in approximately 1.9 miles the road will make a T-connection with Pine Grove Rd. Turn left. Proceed 1.2 miles and take a right turn (east) onto Chases Lake Rd. The entrance to Camp Manestay will be approximately 3.5 miles on the left hand side of the road.

 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes)

 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
