Trail Description Lots of up and down terrain, but not difficult. A few places with rocks, but otherwise, mostly dirt trails. Some hikers and bikers are on the trails. Trails are not marked well, and it can be easy to get turned around.
Best Time to Visit Fall
Times to Avoid Mid-summer after large rainfall - lots of mosquitoes
Campground Equestrian parking available with water available and hitching posts. There are picnic tables in the equestrian parking area as well as a bathroom. No water crossings.

Directions Take Highway 9. Directions are clearly marked. Follow the horse sign as it will take you to the equestrian parking instead of the main entrance.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
