Trail Description Many forest service trails into The Black Hills National Forrest straight out of camp. Most are of moderate difficulty with some elevations. The great thing about riding in The Black Hills National Forest is you can stick to trails or create your own custom adventure!

Campground Located just 7 miles north of Custer Bridle Ridge is nestled in a pristine private setting and offers some of the most spectacular riding and scenery in the Black Hills. Catch views of Crazy Horse Memorial from several locations on numerous trails into the high country. There is riding in the beautiful low country as well.T You can ride to Bear Mountain straight out of camp. At 7166 ft. if offers 360 degree views of South Dakota and Wyoming from horseback. Enjoy exploring The Black Hills on your own of follow endless miles of forest service trails while viewing abundant wildlife and awesome rock formations. At present we offer 18 full hookup big rig friendly sites all with water, sewer and up to 50 AMP electric. All have a fire ring and picnic table. Some sites look into the forest and some overlook a beautiful green pasture.

(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
