Trail Description Easy good sandy footing wide open country panoramic views overlooking the Owens Valley. Most trails are old dirt roads, some single tracks, nothing advanced. Some easy hills. Many loops. Alabama Hills 10 square miles of amazing boulder formations, excellent trails five minutes away by trailer. High country Horseshoe Meadows and mountain passes 25 minutes trailer ride away.

Times to Avoid dead of winter
Campground Three cabins in spring, summer, fall with additional level camping grounds with RV spaces, shaded, good water. No electrical. Full bathhouse. BBQ, picnic tables, 8 12x24 corrals with other spaces for high tying and portable fencing.

Directions Drive Three miles west out of Lone Pine on Whitney Portal Road, then six miles south on Horseshoe Meadow Road. DelaCour Ranch is at 5000 Horseshoe Meadow Road. Well marked.

 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
