Trail Description We have over 60 miles of trails that encompass a wide variety of terrain and wildlife unique to the South Carolina Lowcountry. You will explore open meadows, standing pine forests, 11 lakes, cypress swamps, and the beauty of the live oaks. This protected property is home to a wide variety of wildlife including white tailed deer, wild turkeys, foxes, alligators, bald eagles, and many other species of native and migratory birds. Be your own guide or tag along with our guided horseback rides offered daily.

Campground Our campground is located on 6000 acres of low country paradise. Our facility features 15 30amp primitive campsites, a "green" bathhouse, shaded paddocks, marked trails with outstanding footing. Close to the beach, downtown, and all the activities of Middleton Place, you will experience the South Carolina countryside while being close to all Charleston has to offer!

 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
