Trail Description Trails are well marked with trail maps available. Trails are well maintained and free of trash and downed trees. Tie rails on the trail in various spots compliments of the Pike County OHC Chapter.
Best Time to Visit April thru October or November
Times to Avoid
Campground Electric sites available with overhead tie lines at campsites. Shaded, gravel sites. Flush toilets and hot showers. Creek running through camp or water on tap for the horses. Water available for human use also. Horse wash. Dairy bar, tack shop and alpine shop. Ice available. Camp has a reputation for being one of the cleanest horse camps. All sites are cleaned prior to your arrival. We ask that you remove all manure and hay prior to your departure. Manure wagons and wheel barrels are provided.

 Easy
(Gently sloping or level terrain; trails are groomed or wide open; shallow or no creek crossings. ) 
 More Difficult (Moderate hills over consistent surface; possibly some narrow trails and short steeper slopes) 
 Rigorous (Easy to More Difficult for rider but physically challenging for horse such as on a level surface through deep sand) 
 Challenging (Possible rocky, uneven surface, steep slopes, uncleared trails, faster flowing streams and other obstacles that lead to more difficult riding for rider and horse)
