Trail Description |
Trails are in the Uwharrie National Forest. Over 32 miles of well marked, mapped equestrian trails covering easy to more difficult terrain. Access trail from the stables crosses Hwy 109 at the church and comes out on the Upper Helen's Loop. 1/4 mile from the Eldorado Outpost. RENTAL HORSES AVAILABLE |

Electric and water hookups with hitching posts. Parking is close to the barn, stalls available. Also primitive camping available.
There is a climate controlled room inside the stables for guests. Relax in the A/C when it's hot, or the enjoy the heat when it's cold. Table for meals, microwave, coffepot. Gameroom with foosball table and dartboard. Bath house has two toilets and three showers. HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE |

Directions |
From Troy take NCHwy 109 North to Eldorado. The stables is on the right just past the Outpost.
From Charlotte take 24/27 through Albemarle, across the bridge and turn left onto River Road. Turn left onto Hwy 109 and the stables is approx. 4 miles on the right.
From Greensboro/Raleigh take I-40 to US220 South. Take the Hwy 49 exit in Asheboro and follow it West to Hwy 109. Turn left (South)and the stables are 12 miles down the road on the left.
From Winston Salem, take Hwy 52 to Hwy 8 in Lexington. Get on Hwy 64 headed East and turn onto Hwy 109 going South. Stables is 24 miles down the road on the left.
From High Point take Hwy 109 South, through Denton, to Eldorado. The stables are approximately 35 minutes from I-85 and Hwy 109. |
