Trail Description Challenging due to multiple short but steep hills and occasional muddy conditions is low lying areas.Mostly single path trail through hardwood forest. Several scenic overlooks of Alum Creek resevoir. Particularly scenic in late April and early May when wild flowers are in bloom (and it's not too wet) and mid to late October when leaves are in full turn.
Best Time to Visit June through November. Particularly scenic in late April and early May when wild flowers are in bloom (and it's not too wet) and mid to late October when leaves are in full turn.
Times to Avoid Winter, spring, and early summer if there has been rain. The soil is mostly clay, which leads to slippery trail conditions when they are wet.
