This was our first time at Mammoth. Stalls were nice as well as the campsite and trails. Maps we accessible. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only thing I would suggest is not using the GPS Waze. It takes you off route into another road that has no turnaround. I suggest putting the sign for Mammoth Cave Horse Camp, on the opposite side of the road, not attached to the tupelo street sign. Other than that, no complaints, we will be back! more....

Long-term relationship with owner reduces horses' stress reactions in new situations    A new study shows that horses can be more reluctant in new situations if they have multiple riders, have had several owners or the horse has been with its current owner only for a short period of time. The results of the international research group that studied the interaction between horses and humans also indicate that it takes time to build a good interactive relationship with a horse.
